Happy Birthday Grandma Sandy!

Georgia got to see her Grandma Sandy and Grandpa Bob when they passed through coming back from Maine on Monday. Just a couple of days before Sandy's birthday. Which is today!

Porch, pooch, and a 7 month check up

Georgia had her 7 month check up yesterday. She is 27 inches and 18lbs 2oz. Around the 69th percentile for both. Hard to believe she wasn't on the scales a mere 6 months ago. The Dr. was very pleased overall.

Georgia is practicing her Army crawl skills. She would be excellent going under barbed wire.

New hippo chair

Georgia was psyched to try out her new hippo chair today. She gets to sit at the table with us!

Uh oh...better work on that baby proofing thing.

In addition to madly moving herself in circles and backwards, Georgia is now dragging herself forward a couple of feet to reach things. She hasn't quite figured out how useful the legs can be but we figure this at least fits into the general category of "forward movement" if not the subordinate category of crawling.

Spanish and a tutu

This morning Georgia tried on her tutu for Antie Dana's upcoming wedding and we practiced our rather embarrassing Spanish. Although she is too young to be a flower girl, Auntie Sharon and Grandma Gaye got her a special order flower girl outfit to match the big girls. We had to make sure it fit since G is getting so big.

Georgia's daycare is in vacation so she and I are hanging this week.
I think she looks like Papa when she smiles.

Georgia's first time in a pool

We went to a friends house today to play in their pool. It was 94 degrees and super humid. It was the best place to be. Georgia seemed to like her first pool dunk (although she thought the water was a little too cold at first).

Fourth of July-Airplane home

We spent the weekend in D.C. for a friends wedding and to visit Brendan's parents. On the way back we got a free upgrade to first class (much to the demise of our fellow passengers-Georgia's new high pitched screech was in full force). Here are some pics of Daddy and G in the plane. She was a wild one for the first 20 minutes and then finally fell fast asleep.
