Finally! Some warm weather!

We took advantage of our first summer like day in New England today. After a pretty long and cold winter our pale skin was ready for some sun. After Brendan and Georgia picked Mama up at the airport they headed out to enjoy Rockport, a cute like shore town close to us. We then headed over to a friend's BBQ.

Daddy had to head Georgia off on many occasions throughout our walk through the shopping area. She is sure becoming independent!

I caught a picture of G at lunch saying "I don know..." when I asked where Daddy went.

Georgia checking out the flower boxes at one of the shops.

Mama and G by the ocean.

Daddy putting on G's jacket. It was warm but windy! Georgia really had to lean forward to walk through the wind. It was super cute.

Georgia loves to climb in and out of all big girl chairs/couches/strollers/beds/etc. We went to a friends BBQ last night. At one point we turned around and found her sitting in a chair next to a new friend.

Another chair...

And here is her new big girl chair from Grandma Sandy and Grandpa Bob! She loves to sit in it and read her books.

Fun with Grandma Gaye

We had a nice visit with Grandma Gaye the last 5 days. She even brought the sunshine with her from California. The weather was beautiful and we got to spend a lot of time outdoors.

Grandma got the full treatment each morning. Coffee in bed and morning cuddles with Rocky, Georgia, and Kara. Even Brendan came in and sipped his coffee. Granted it was 5:45 a.m....but who cares...

Grandma left this morning and we miss her already. This afternoon I asked Georgia "where is Grandma?" She walked into the guest room, didn't see Grandma, put her hands in the air and said very concerned... "I dun no."

Grandma and Georgia enjoying the cookies from Aunt Pat.

We took a trip to the Children's museum. Here is Georgia admiring the fish.

And playing with the trains.

Sitting like a big girl next to Grandma.
She can get in and out of chairs easily on her own now-she can even get off our bed on her own! (talking about Georgia here, not Grandma, though she can as well...)

The next day we went to the Aquarium.
Grandma and Georgia were first in line (wrong line...but that is beside the point).

Georgia and Grandma enjoying the fish. Georgia made her fishy smacking noises the entire time! She loved seeing the penguins too.

We had a nice lunch at Legal and Georgia drank out of a big girl straw. Then off the the IMAX (G was not a fan of the 3D glasses but liked the wavy fish movie).

Grandma and Georgia also had a lot of cuddle/play/reading time.
I think Grandma knows all her books by heart now.

Crazy G.

Chasing Georgia

Here are a couple of videos of me chasing Georgia. She was getting a kick out of it (so were we).

Everyday pics-oh and animal noises

Early morning cuddle with Blabla...

And Mama

The cutest diner I've ever seen.

Georgia is talking like crazy. She has about 30-40 words, including mama, dada, up, down, all done, no, yeah, diaper, doggie, bubble, uh oh, ucky, more, ball, ocky (rocky), nana (banana), hot, Blabla (her doll), and duck. She can also make about 10 animal sounds including "hoo hoo" for owl, "ruff ruff" for dog, "quack" for duck, "neigh" for horse, "baaaa" for sheep,"err err" for frog, "meee" for cat, "ee ee" for bird, and "moooo" for cow. She also knows lions say "ROARRR!" but evidently zebras, penguins, flamingos, whales, alligators, bears, elephants, and dolphins all do too. Who knew?

Here is a rather dark video with me quizzing her on a few animal sounds. We (and Sandra Boyton) have slighting confused her on pigs. She is not sure if they say "grunt grunt" or "la la la."

Out and about with Daddy's clan

Grandma Sandy and Grandpa Bob came to visit last weekend. They played with Georgia and celebrated Great Grandma Jackie and Great Grandpa Al's 68th wedding anniversary!

The weather even cooperated long enough for Sandy and Bob to take Georgia to the playground.

Mama is hoping Grandpa Bob was at the other end...

Georgia was very good...as long as she had spoons to chew on...

...and could pull out her pigtails.

I can blow a whistle and have two more teeth

G has been a drool machine again. In a daring act, I poked my finger in her mouth (no way will she let me look) and felt two more teeth! Georgia also learned how to blow a whistle this morning.
