Quinn is 5 months old!

Quinn is 5 months old! He is such a happy baby, smiling and laughing from morning to night. He could look at your face for hours and loves to talk back to you. He REALLY likes it when his teacher Sunita talks to him in Hindi. He can roll to his back or to his front and loves to play with his feet. He can sit up with help and wants to crawl so bad when we put him on his belly. He can bear weight on his legs and loves the jumparoo and exersaucer. If there is a toy close enough he likes to pull it closer. He still sleeps like a champ but watch out if he gets hungry. He'll scream like a banshee! Solid food is his new obsession and his eyes look to be hazel green and blue. He loves to read, even the car section of the newspaper with Daddy!

Daddy and Mama love this super happy little addition to our family and feel so blessed. Georgia loves rubbing her lips over his super fuzzy hair (which is coming in VERY blond) and told me she loves Quinny "too much."

NH weekend

We accepted an offer on the house last week (was on the market for less than a week-and we got over asking price-very exciting) and have a back up offer pending. We spent the weekend with our friends at their lake house in New Hampshire for some more summer fun.

Georgia is a total water bug and spent a lot of the time playing in the water and on the beach.

The girls also had a blast running up a hill....

...and down a hill. They were exhausted. It was great! Georgia of course is wearing the princess costume over her pajamas.

Daddy and Quinn having some quiet time on the porch when we got home.

Watermelon and a broken flower

Georgia was eating watermelon and helping me put flowers in our vases the other day. We were having a blast.

Georgia's flower was broken. She thought it was so funny.

Of course she couldn't put the flower down to eat the watermelon.

Cheese!

You want me to say cheese again?

This one smells funny.

Cheese again!

Maine

We had a great weekend in Maine. Swimming, light boating, napping...all around relaxing. We needed it after a crazy 6 weeks getting our house ready to go on the market (5 showings so far!).

Wooooo hooooo!

My babes (all three). The only pic I could get of all three of them. Granted Brendan's head is cut off and Q is chewing on his hand, but there they are in all their glory.

G juicing up for the big rock throwing event.

The boys getting ready for fun in the sun.

No Daddy! No more smooches!

Super dog Rocky loved jumping off the rock for sticks or rocks (he wasn't picky). He swam so hard his tail was sore.

Super dog!

A girl and her super dog.

Quinny is on solids!

Quinny weighed in at 77% in height and 34% in weight at his four month appt last week. He is pretty long and already fitting into 6-12 month clothes. The Dr. also gave the go ahead for solids. Upon his first taste of rice, Quinny made an awful face, choked, and puked all over himself, his seat, and Mama's work clothes. Yay... After Mama made it a bit more soupy he started to smile and grunt for more! more! more! Later that night it was peaches for which he wasn't a fan. But the next day he fell in love with blueberries, pears, and bananas. What an eater he is!

Daddy and Quinny!

Daddy and Quinn had lots of cuddle time this weekend in Maine. See the two of them performing for the camera.

Big News

So...we are moving to San Diego! That's right. Georgia and Quinn are going to be California kids. Just in time too. The other day when I was dropping Georgia off at daycare she told me she wanted to go to the "potty." I got so excited and said "yay" then started to take her to the bathroom. She said "no mama" and pointed up the stairs to where they had a party a few weeks back and said, "the pahtty!" I realized she was saying "party" with the New England accent (which for those of you who aren't familiar sounds just like "potty"). It was quite disturbing (no offense to my wonderful friends with NE accents).

Catch up

Things have been crazy lately. Here are some pics from the last few weeks. We'll catch everyone up on emerging news very soon...

Quinn had his first Mum Mum the other day. He loved it and got really upset when it turned soggy and he couldn't grab it anymore.

G and B wrestling around.

It wasn't really a fair fight.

But they both were having fun.

Smiles all around.

Even Q had a super smile (as usual).
He laughs like an adult. It is too cool.

G is having fun with Q now that he is a little more interactive. He still thinks he is wiggly and loves to give him kisses and hugs.

Look at my two babes. G is growing her hair out so we rarely see her eyes.

SPRINKLER! The teachers at school said she is a bit of a girly girl. I think this picture says it all. Guess Mama will have to teach her how to climb trees in her high heels.
