Doggy days

Every morning Brendan and Rocky meet some of our neighbors and their dogs at the nearby soccer fields. It is called the morning crew and is getting quite a reputation around town. Most of the dogs are male labs (Rocky, Max, Stout, and Jake). The dogs get to run free, wrestle, and play hard. On the mornings I head to the gym Georgia joins the boys. I joined them this Sunday and took some pics.

Brendan was doing double duty as we were watching Max this past weekend. Max had to stop for an itch break.

Brendan should of been in a cart with these two pulling him.

Brendan and Hans were trying to catch the boys attention.

Now they look a little more interested.

Georgia likes to watch them play. They pups make sure to come by and give her a doggy kiss every so often. She loves it!

Awwww, boys and their dogs.

Kiwi, blueberries, and asparagus oh my!

We are all about loving the yummy summer fruit and vegetables this year. Georgia has been trying asparagus, kiwi and blueberries the last couple of days.

Here is a pic of her blueberry face.
Scrumptious!

360s

Georgia's favorite pastime is spinning in circles. You get a taste of it in this video. I was hoping she wouldn't crawl until September but figure that is wishful thinking at this point....

I've also included a couple of shots in the car for those having a hard time with the video.

Almost too big for her tub!

This girl is getting so big! She is almost too big for her tub laying down. She likes to sit up like a big girl but scares mama because she likes to stick her face in the water and try to eat her bath toys! Not a good thing when she is all slippery.

Look at all the floating creatures!

Big blue eyes.

After bath she likes to play in her pjs.

Beach Weekend

We spent this Saturday and Sunday at Amy and Paul's beach house in CT. It was Georgia's first time to the beach and we were able to practice for our trip to Mexico.

The ocean and beach are a short 30 second walk from the house!
Convenient for frequent diaper changers!

Georgia and Daddy are ready to head out the beach.
Look at Georgia's cute monokini from Grandma Gaye and Grandpa Kirk.

At first Georgia thought it was simply to bright...

But then her eyes adjusted and she looking wonderingly around...

Then decided, this is pretty cool mama!
So she proceeded to...

Grab a bucket...

Stick her hand in it for awhile...

Played in the tent with Emma...

Took over the Winkel and made Emma cry...

Ate the Winkel...

Went in the mini waves with Daddy...

Posed for more pictures with mama...

And passed out next to her half downed bottle.

The cutest beach bum I ever saw!

Speaketh in tongues

I recently went away for a 3 day trip and came back to a sweet little devil baby. Listen to Georgia trying out her new sounds. They are slightly creepy. We sometimes expect her head to turn around and project green vomit.

Father's Day

It was Brendan's first Father's Day today. Georgia got him a new T-Shirt and a couple of cards. We then went out to brunch with our friends Shawn (first time dad too), Beren, and their son Paul.

Papas and their babies

Kisses from Daddy.

Eskimo girl.

Sweet.

Flying High!

Georgia loves to be lifted in the air!

I may be balding...but I'm still pretty darn cute.

Here are the girls hanging out. Look how much they have grown!

This was then...

A true love story

Georgia and Rocky. They have fallen in love. Georgia is always watching him and reaching out to touch his fur and grab his ears. He is equally in love and wants to lick her tiny little feet whenever possible. He is being so good with her and doesn't even flinch when she pulls on his fur. However, we are extra watchful as Rocky is weighing in at 90lbs and still thinks he is about 15 (which can get interesting when he tries to nap on you lap). Oh yeah, and the wild 3 foot tail... He does get a face lick in every once in awhile (I think he's realized leftover rice cereal or fruit snacks are available on Georgia's face). Georgia smiles and giggles. No fear of dogs (or dog breath for that matter) here.

Morning chatter

Georgia has really been practicing talking the last few weeks. High pitches are her favorite right now.

Elephant for breakfast

Now that Georgia realizes not all food comes in the form of milk, she is trying all cuisine.

Hmmmm...this looks tasty....

Not bad, not bad, but too big of a bite.

I'll try from the tip down.
