Sum Sum Summertime

We have been having a great summer now that Mama isn't on the road. Just hanging out with friends and trying to take in the sun while we can! Georgia is such a little girl now and growing up more each day. She loves to do everything just like Mama and Daddy and comes out with new words all the time. She loves to point to things and tell us what they are. She also loves to sing and definitely has opinions on which songs she wants us to play in the car. Mama had to listen to the same song 10 times this morning (until the stereo "broke").

Visiting the Lassiters

We had a fabulous time visiting our very special friends Scott and Andi a couple of weekends ago. Georgia had such fun playing with baby Neenah and Maya (9 months older than G).

Here is G playing at the park with Maya, Neenah, and the boys. They let Andi go shopping after Kara left for another work trip. Daddy's said Georgia really loved the tunnel.

Summer G

Georgia is really enjoying the summer. She is such a water baby and loves to be outside. The other day she was so upset when the weather turned stormy and I had to pull her out of the pool. I put her in the bathtub and that seemed to be a good substitute. We try to get out and about when the weather is cooperating.

Georgia pulled out the asparagus pot the other day. She took out the drainer, put it on her arm like a purse and said "bye bye" Too cute!

G has discovered Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches. With Grandma Gaye's blackberry jam of course. Here she is chowing down on Mama's sandwich. Yummy!

Fun in Maine

We have spent the last two weekends in Maine with friends. Here are a few pics from this past weekend with Amy, Paul, Emma, Larissa, Brett, and Bella. We had such a great time!

Fun in DC

Georgia and I went to DC a couple of weeks ago and Georgia visited with Grandma Sandy and Grandpa Bob. I finally found my pictures! They took her to the best playground ever and had fun in the nearby swimming pool.

Company Picnic

We went to my company's annual New England picnic yesterday. It was so much fun!

Georgia had a great time playing in the baby pool and sprinkler area.

California Trip

For my birthday, Georgia and I visited Grandma Gaye and Grandpa Kirk in Northern CA for 9 days. Daddy and Rocky stayed home and enjoyed their bachelorhood.

We had such a great time and took a ton of pictures. See below for our many adventures.

Georgia and I went with Grandpa to visit the Abhayagiri monastary (http://www.abhayagiri.org/). Grandpa is doing some work for the monks. Here is Georgia playing in front of one of the meditation platforms in the woods. The deer were so tame in this area. They would come very close to us and weren't afraid.

Here is the site that Grandpa is helping build on. What a beautiful view! We could see about 7 ridge lines from where we were standing.

Cousins Heath, Kara, Lilah, and Emma hosted a great family party one evening. We had fresh abalone Heath caught that morning. So tasty! Georgia had her first juice box, which I'm sure was the driving force behind her not wanting to sleep until 10:45.
