We were trying to take some pics of G for holiday cards a couple of weeks ago. Here are some shots from that very fun (although not too productive) session.

Emma turned one!
Georgia attended Emma's birthday party this past weekend. There were 9 babies all around one years old! It was so much fun. Georgia's friends Paul and Bella were there in addition to all of her new friends.

More teeth...and drool
Georgia has new teeth to join her two beautiful bottom teeth. A left lateral incisor. Very exciting. I think I might have felt the right lateral incisor as well. Luckily this round seemed less painful as Georgia has been sleeping through the night (7:30 to 6:00) for an entire week. Brendan and I are holding our breath hoping it is here to stay. Keep your fingers crossed.
BTW: I've been trying to snap pics of Georgia's teeth but she is having none of it!

Practice Birthday
Thanksgiving
With the Santa episode now a distant memory it is time to highlight the T-Day events. Georgia's grandparents from DC came into town along with her Auntie Jackie. We also had the Great Grandparents over for T-day dinner as well as a few friends who brought a ton of pre and post dinner treats. Sandy and Bob brought some yummy wine from their trip to Italy a couple of months ago. We drank that right down.

Conversations with an 11 month old
I thought I'd post a conversation Georgia and I had this morning.
I swear she said "I love you" at the end. Also, she does seem to use "ma" and "da" for the right parents. Although she sometimes calls Rocky "da" too...

Georgia is a super drooling machine. She has two bottom teeth (sorry Paul, she is no longer in the dentures for babies club) and man are they sharp! I know because she bit my finger when I was feeling them. I suppose that is my fault.
Also, Georgia always looks so serious in her pictures. I put some videos up so you could see her playing.

Voting!...and Turkeys!?
Tuesday morning Brendan, Georgia and I got up early, bundled up, and walked to the polling station. There were already about 20 people in line and we saw a bunch of neighbors. On the way back, we saw the pair of Turkeys that hang out in our neighborhood. The male even showed us his very special tail feathers! We figured that was good luck for our candidates!
Georgia and I are about to roll into the polling station. A very nice police man watched her closely while Brendan and I voted (though I kept looking over at her and got worried I might accidentally mark the wrong circle...).
Look at the cute pair!

Bella's Birthday Party
Georgia went to another birthday party this Saturday. Her friend Bella was turning 1! It was a beautiful day here, so we walked/strollered to the party.
Georgia and the Birthday girl. Georgia got to pick a duck out.
There were all kinds of ducks and she chose the football duck.
Daddy was pretty impressed.
Note: I did comb Georgia's hair...

Happy Halloween!
Georgia had a wonderful Halloween day. She had a party at daycare, then Daddy picked her up early. She took a big nap and then got dressed to visit with friends. Unfortunately I was on a plane :( Daddy took lots of pics though!
Thanks for the pumpkin costume Grandma Sandy and Grandpa Bob!

Georgia has discovered dancing.
She may look like her Papa...but she's got the fabulous moves of her Mama. With Georgia flare of course.

Taking steps (with help)
Georgia finally figured out how to use her push toy...With a little help from Papa.
Peek--a-boo
Georgia had her 10 month check up a couple of days ago. She is doing great. Her height is in the 87th percentile and her weight is in the 70th percentile. The Drs said they would never guess she is a preemie!
Check out the videos of Georgia playing peek-a-boo with Daddy and Mama.
