Sad news
Brendan's uncle (and Godfather) Marty passed away yesterday. Here are some pics from last summer in Maine. A wonderful father, son, brother, and grandfather. He will be missed.

Just your average morning
G loves her gym and spends quite a bit of time batting her toys around in the morning. Rocky got one of Brendan's socks out of the hamper and spent the morning happily chewing it up. Sorry babe, he got it before I could catch him.
G and Rocky are taking more interest in each other. At least G is taking more interest in Rocky and watches him very intently for periods of time. I think Rocky's interest may be in chewing up the toys on G's gym.

G in action
Big milestone for G.
Grandpa Bob and Grandma Sandy sent a super cute Easter basket to Georgia and Aunt Sharon sent a really sweet Easterish outfit, so I was trying to take a few holiday pictures. Georgia can't sit up on her own yet, so I put her on her belly, which she usually doesn't mind, next to the basket. Low and behold, she pushed herself right over onto her back! I was able to get the side to back portions. I can't believe I actually had the camera in my hand and focused when she did it. Too funny!
She did it several more times as I tried to get in on video, but she was too quick. And then she just got plain mad at me, as you can see in the video. I put her down for a nap. Note that in the video she had just rolled herself from her belly to side. Again, too quick for the camera.
I'll try again later.
Go G!
First big trip
This past weekend Brendan and I drove down to New York/New Jersey to visit our wonderful friends Tara and Nick Cervino. It was approximately a four hour drive and Georgia did so well in the car both down and up. She slept most of the time, only requesting that we stop once and feed her after the first few hours of travel.
We had a great time. Tara and Nick have a gorgeous new home and were a couple of days away from celebrating their second wedding anniversary. It was particularly wonderful to see Tara in her 22 weeks of pregnant glory. Even if she won't find out the sex!
Here are some pics from our trip. Note the picture of Georgia. We think her hair is getting more reddish everyday. Tara's mom (who is Irish...and well you know...they are quick to pick up on this sort of thing) asked if she was a redhead unsolicited when she saw this pic. For those who don't know, my dad is a redhead and Brendan and I are secretly wishing that she gets that trait. Not so secret now. We'll see....

Why does that stranger sound like my daddy?
To celebrate the coming of spring (I should mention is snowing as I type), Brendan shaved off his Youkilis facialdo. We documented the commemorative moment this morning. Georgia seemed a little confused but still gave him her love... Until she was hungry of course. Then it was all about mama the human snack bar.
