Naked in my pretty green blanket

Georgia had her first out of the diaper explosion today. It came out the front and back. Just like squishing one of those to go mustard packs. Eeewww. After changing her, I took the opportunity to snap some half naked pics of her wrapped up in a pretty green blanket (compliments of Cousins Heath, Kara, Lilah, and Emma).

Goodbye Grandma Sandy and Grandpa Bob

Brendan's parents left on Sunday...Georgia's four week birthday. We snapped some goodbye pictures.

We think she is growing

Do you think Georgia is bigger? We do. She must be at least in the 5lb range again. We'll know for sure after her Feb Dr. appt. It seems as though she is now too long for her preemie clothes and is about to officially enter newborn sizes.

What is up with these crazy things!

We are starting to introduce some of Georgia's toys to her when she is awake. This is a funky little rattle from her Great Aunt Sharon. Super sassy.

Just me and my mobile...

G loves her funky mobile. She just started noticing it a couple of days ago. She is completely enthralled with it. Thanks Mark and Kristen!

Voguing

Let's face it, when you have a little girl, it is really all about the fashion. Look at G voguing it out. The fuzzy hat is courtesy of Cousins Kara, Heath, Lilah, and Emma. Thank you all for such a gorgeous gift! It is going to look fantastic with her matching outfit once it fits! XO

These boots were made for wigglin'

G already likes to dress up. Note her stylish boots that Papa bought for her. We couldn't decide if we liked the look with the hat or without...

Does she look like mama or papa?

So...we have been having that "who does the baby look like" conversation...knowing that it is impossible to tell. Any input from the masses? We are all about the same age here. Georgia is by the fish ornament, Brendan is in the white blanket, and Kara is in the pretty dress and 70s baby chair.

Grandpa Bob and Snow

We got several inches of snow today. It was a good day to stay inside, take a nap, and eat hot chocolate. Grandpa Bob spent most of the day shoveling snow and snuggling with G.

Generations meet

Grandma Sandy and Grandpa Bob Crowley came to visit from DC today. As you can see, they are just as taken with Georgia as we are. Sandy even coaxed our girl into eating 3 ounces of milk. Note that 10 days ago we were trying to get Georgia to eat one ounce. Way to go Grandma! We are looking forward to having them visit for the next week.

Ten fingers and ten toes

We are completely and utterly in love with our daughter's digits...

A spinglike walk in January

It was an unseasonably warm day yesterday. 65 degree high. Basically bikini weather for December in Boston. Amy, Emma, Georgia and I went for a walk and the Breakheart reservation, which is about a 5 minute drive from our house (http://www.mass.gov/dcr/parks/metroboston/breakhrt.htm). It was my first outing with Georgia and the first walk I have been on since I was put on bedrest in mid-December. The pictures and video look much more treacherous than it was.

Georgia is the baby in the carriage with the stripes.

I wanted to bring Rocky, but chickened out at the last minute. I wasn't sure how the whole baby, dog juggling thing would go. Turned out to be a good thing as there were many dog walkers on the trail. Rocky would have wanted to make friends with all of them. If it is a good day again today, I might brave the Rocky/Georgia juggling act. Looks like it might rain though...
