Visit from Grandpa Bob

Grandpa Bob came up for over a week to visit and help with painting before our baby boy comes. Gone is the pink brothel guest room. Here is baby boy blue room (with a flash of purple)-pictures to come soon. G loved seeing her Grandpa apparently he was the only one allowed to take pictures of her.

Bye bye Grandpa Bob! I love you!

Daddy, G and Grandpa went to Blue Moon for breakfast. Georgia loved her apple pancakes. Especially the whipped cream!

Yummy!

March 25th-Going to be a big day!

So, my Dr. decided yesterday that they are going to induce me on March 25th, during my 36th week of pregnancy. A few weeks ago I developed a pretty uncommon condition called obstetric cholestasis. It is a liver condition which can often harm a perfectly healthy baby during the last month of pregnancy. We are so excited to finally hold our little Aries in our arms and have the drama be over. Only two weeks to go! I just hope my liver recovers quickly so I can have that long awaited full glass of wine!

Love to everyone XO

Peas for breakfast?!

The other morning Georgia was eating breakfast and asked for peas. I guess it was the perfect complement to her lime yogurt???

Goggles

G loves the water. She is so happy we added goggles to her bag of bath toys. I see the 200 fly in her future....

Now that she is two, I feel bad showing the world her cute buns, so we dressed them up with a star.

Trouble

Here are a few pics from Georgia's recent visit with her friend Bella. They were trouble with a capital COOKIE!

Happy Valentines Day

G wishes everyone a Happy Valentines Day. She loves her singing dog from Aunt Pat and has been dancing with it for a couple of days now (last night she woke us up at 2am with a loud rendition of "Do you love me"). She also loved her care packages from her Grandparents in CA and DC.

We had lots of visitors on V-Day. Amy, Emma, and Jack surprised G with heart stickers. Paul's daddy stopped by with a little outfit for the baking baby boy, Kevin, Emi, and Kian came over for lunch. It was so nice to see everyone!

Nothing like a V-day cuddle with Daddy and a peanut butter sandwich.

=G flirting with little Kian. He has grown so much and is such a mellow fellow.

Karate by Brendan

Daddy gave G her first Karate lesson last night. She loved it.

Little Man

We had a 30 week ultrasound yesterday and had a great look at our little man's face. It was the first time he was not hiding it. From the ultrasound, it looks like he might have a turned up nose like his mama did. Also, the 3-D pic suggests he might look a lot like Georgia (just a manly version). Of course we won't know until he comes out. In any case, I (his mama, of course) think he is the cutest thing ever!

Also, he is really flexible and big. He had one foot in pike position by his face. The other was stretched out behind him up by my rib cage. He was basically doing some contorted split. They also estimated him at 4lbs. This was good news since the following news was not as great. Mama's cervix is losing its battle with the contractions and slipping away little by little. That means the little man could be actively trying to join us any day now. We are trying our best to keep him in there!

Here is the 3-D shot. His arm was moving on the right side, so it looks a little blurry.
The technician said he was very handsome and photogenic (I'm sure she tells all the moms this).

Here is a profile shot.
It is tough to see the turned up nose in this pic but it was really obvious during the ultrasound.

Obsessed with blankets

Georgia is slightly obsessed with blankets. Her favorite game is to lay down and have Brendan and I cover her with multiple blankets. She instructs which ones are supposed to be laid in order. After laying very still for awhile (30 seconds), she gets up and says "Mama, blankets on!" We are then asked to cover her in a different order of blankets than before. She can sometimes play this game for an hour. I like it best when she plays it by herself ;)

Blanket on!

That is a good pile.

Maybe I like this order better...

She also likes us to lay the blanket on her little dollhouse family. She lines them up in a row and instructs us on which blanket we should place on them.

Here she is joining her dollhouse family.

Thanks Mama! That was fun!

Fun with friends

With Mama on bed rest the last 4 weeks (only 7 more to go!), we've had lots of visitors and play dates. It has helped pass the time and keep Georgia busy. We are lucky to have such great friends.

Bella, G, and Emma all hanging out in tutus (Em had taken hers off)
while some mama's and papa's had wine and cheese.

Here is G hanging on the slide at Nathan and Will's birthday party.
It was in a big indoor play yard.

Here she is on the bouncing ball (which she LOVED).
It was hard to get a pics of the kids together. They were all running around.

Paul also came by for a play date.
He spilled water on his pants and had to borrow Georgia's.
We think he looks good in pink track pants.

I swear these two look like they could be brother and sister...

Regular old fun

I'm posting some pics of the last couple of weeks. Just G hanging out and having a good time.

Georgia wanted me to put her fairy costume AND purple tutu on today. She then danced in circles with her wonky eyed doll whom she dressed in snow boots and hat.

Still dancing with a CHEESE! for the camera.

Sledding on a frozen lake at her friend Bella's house.

Looking oh so gorgeous in her Mardi Gras beads.

Dressing up Mama's hand with jewels.

Daddy's slippers sure are comfortable.

Look at my pile of animals!
I love to pile them up in many places in my room.

2 Year Stats and videos

Georgia had her 2 year appt a few weeks ago. Here are her stats:
Height: 35 3/4 inches (96&)
Weight: 29.6 lbs (86%)

The Dr. said she's on track to be about 5'10" which is how tall mama would love to be herself.

Here are a couple of videos from the last few days. She is such a character.

Georgia trying to lick the bubbles.

Who knew what fun a yogurt cup could be?
